It is March! How do I know this you may ask... Is it the Betty White calendar that hangs on my pantry door? Yes that tells me the dates of the year, and yes it helps, but there's something more...
It is the Peeps that line the shelves of the grocery stores and the delightful little girls set up with their card tables outside of the doors of those grocery stores selling their scrumptious Girl Scout Cookies! It is this coupled with the big announcement of the new season of Dancing With The Stars, that lets me know, "Yes, Spring is springing into action!" It's going to be a good month ladies and gents!
So gather your purple Peeps and Thin Mints and get ready to watch this delight dance across your television screen:
That's right my lovelies, Kirstie Alley is a contestant on DWTS this season. I am so excited! Get your dialing fingers ready to help vote one of our favorite Cheers cast members to victory!!!

Somewhere Over The Rainbow...
A year ago is when I started this little blog. It began with a post about the Polar Plunge fundraiser my friends, co-workers, and I do each year for Special Olympics. This year we were the Wizard of Oz. It was as much fun as usual. I will say though, that two days before the big jump, I was getting kind of nervous as there was a freak of mother nature that occurred on the lake and caused 20 foot tall ice walls to surround part of the lake. Yikes! Thankfully those ice walls had pretty much melted away by Saturday. The weather couldn't have been more delightful and the water was as warm as its ever been (an almightily warm 36 degrees!)
Here are a few pictures:
A BIG thank you again, to all of you who donated and to those who came out to support us. We couldn't have done it without you! (And a huge thank you to Jen, your make-up skills rocked our socks off!)
