A year ago is when I started this little blog. It began with a post about the Polar Plunge fundraiser my friends, co-workers, and I do each year for Special Olympics. This year we were the Wizard of Oz. It was as much fun as usual. I will say though, that two days before the big jump, I was getting kind of nervous as there was a freak of mother nature that occurred on the lake and caused 20 foot tall ice walls to surround part of the lake. Yikes! Thankfully those ice walls had pretty much melted away by Saturday. The weather couldn't have been more delightful and the water was as warm as its ever been (
an almightily warm 36 degrees!)
Here are a few pictures:

A
BIG thank you again, to all of you who donated and to those who came out to support us. We couldn't have done it without you! (
And a huge thank you to Jen, your make-up skills rocked our socks off!)
