Casting Crowns

Tonight some friends and I went to a Casting Crowns concert. It was one of the coolest shows I've been to in a very long time. It was so neat to have this huge group of people together with this vibe of unity because of a commonality in their belief...so different than most things in this world right now as so many focus on the differences which result in a feeling of division and conflict.

There were three opening bands. The first was this lady...

The second band was called 'The Afters.' I wasn't super impressed. So no pic.

Then to the third and final opening band...

Then the show really began....

They sang quite a few new songs from their new cd "Come To The Well." It sounds like it is going to be fabulous! (As a little side note, it comes out October 18th, and you can pre-order it @ Lifeway Bookstores for $9.99 plus they give you a $5 giftcard! Score!)
